About This Game:
R-Type Dimensions III is a modern remake of the classic R-Type arcade shoot ’em up series. In the story, humanity once created the dangerous bio-mechanical Bydo Empire as a weapon, but it eventually turned against its creators. Players pilot the advanced R-90 Ragnarok fighter to battle through enemy dimensions and stop the Bydo from destroying humanity.
The game keeps the fast-paced side-scrolling shooter gameplay and difficult enemy patterns the series is known for, while rebuilding everything with modern 3D graphics, updated effects, and improved sound. It also adds features like local co-op, customizable controls, new scoring mechanics, and optional camera modes for a fresh take on the classic arcade experience.
