About the Game
Goonya Fighter is a chaotic party fighting game where floppy, physics-based characters battle across colorful and unpredictable arenas. Up to four players can compete on one Nintendo Switch system, while online and local multiplayer let you challenge friends or other players around the world. The simple four-button controls—punch, kick, jump, and guard—make it easy for beginners to jump in while still allowing plenty of room to master the game’s unusual physics.
The game features three modes—Battle, Coin Battle, and Race—across 90 different battlefields, each filled with hazards and interactive environments. Players can kick bombs, avoid collapsing floors, and use magma, water, and other stage elements to create chaos. A Story Mode is also available for solo players, following Nyack and Mash as they battle enemies and overcome traps, while local co-op adds another way to enjoy the adventure.
